Hello, I would like to know which glucometers facilitate the different insurers (Asisa, Adeslas and DKV) for MuFACE mutualists and if they put many problems when collecting reactive strips.
I am currently in DKV and the glucometer they give is the accu-chek AvivAnd then they reimburse me via bank transfer. They always facilitate the material, although they seem to be giving you alms when you go for it.
The point is that I think Adeslas gives the freestyle strips and as I am a user of the free I am thinking of changing my insurer so as not to have to load with two glucometers.
Another issue: in Madrid DKV delivers the strips only in the office they have in Diego de León;Does anyone know if Adeslas gives them to other places other than Madrid capital?I mean that if for example in the offices of other populations (Alcobendas, SS de los Reyes, three songs ,, Rivas, Alcalá .....) the collection can be made.
Thank you.

About the insurers I can tell you, but I can tell you that you can go to your social security doctor and ask for the strips of the brand you want (they cover you up to 4 a day), if you have insurer you cango out of both. You should also know that you can see the websites of the manufacturers (Abbott, Bayer ...) and once you decide what glucometer you like more you just have to call them and send it to you for free, moreover, to the Abbott those of Abbott you can even ask themA second glucometer to have it in case the first is spoiled.

She has no social security, has a mufface that is the social security of officials and have to choose between different private insurers their medical coverage.
I as the daughter of "Funi" and that I had mufface until I started working and they were discharged in the SS, I recommend that you go to the SS, for diseases of this type, which covers many specialties works much better, they take youIn the hospital and some professionals talk to others not as in the private insurers that each one carries their consultation and neither knows nor can they access your story or anything and they will not spare in the media, I mean tests or the bomb, it isMuch more difficult to give it to you than by the SS, all paperwork.
On the other hand they put much less fight for the strips and others, I remember when I had to go to inspection so that the strips were sealed, 3 weeks passed, what roll
Also in the SS they give you in a meter you want.
Private insurers are fine to do tests, which give you quotes before but for fat problems the SS has no color

Thank you so much. The point is that they diagnosed me a couple of months ago (type 1).I am with what I had, DKV, and until the end of the year I can't change. And that is where I am considering whether to go to social security, or continue with an insurer, since I am happy with the endocrine that is taking me: in that case, I could continue with her both in DKV and Adeslas, and from thereThe question.
The truth is that I miss help for day to day; They have not offered me more training than the 2-3 days I spent in the hospital after diagnosing myself, and consultations with the endocrine;I do not exaggerate, but after the entrance they threw me into the street with some diets to consult on the Internet, and fixed guidelines depending on the previous blood glucose, because it was understood that I was always going to eat the same portions. They did not explain anything about physical exercise, food, such as treating hypoglycemia ... Everything has been self -training and thanks to diabetic friends that I had close, who helped me.Anyway, that surely I am going to social security, but in case I did not, I would like to know how the other insurers that we can access work;I know DKV, but I don't know how Adeslas and Asisa work.
Thank you!!!!

I am also from MUFACE but attended by Social Security, chosen social security because sometimes private is better but good I think that at the time of something important and urgent social security is better, but it is a personal opinion, also in my area of my areaCartagena There are no good private hospitals.

I can help you little but I can tell you my experience in the SS.In the endocrine they gave me the device (a Bayer's USB roll I think it is) and they prescribed the reactive strips and insulin.I do not know how to say even when I end up how often they will prescribe them. The lancetas and needles pick them up in my nursing of my closest health center without problems. So far I have only gone and gave me a box of each thing.
Now, the difference in treatment between private and public will be a lottery, like everything.I can not complain about the treatment of doctors and nurses of my endocrine but the first doctor I went to to make routine blood tests saw high glucose values and only told me that if I was not diabetic, now it was (guy told me), I prescribed a pill and sent me for my house with my newly discovered white face that you have a chronic disease.
Fortunately I moved, changed doctor and everything was much more natural and better.

I would recommend that you would change to the SS in January.I work in the hospital's admission service and sometimes for mufface-private patients with serious or chronic diseases, everything is problems. If you need to attend you in a public hospital, for some treatment that only performs the SS (transplant, special radio or chemio treatments, etc.) insurers have to take charge in writing of the expenses every time you enter and it is an authenticCoñazoHowever, patients with MUFACE-SS do not put any paste. The two types of patients are just attending the same, but many insurers make it complicated when authorizing according to what things.

You are convincing me, if I was more or less clear about it, I think that in December I will take the step and try to see how with Social Security. Thanks for the tips.

In Adeslas the Free Style Little, while you carry a doctor's report they give you all the strips and lancets you need, even the "Diabetes educator" gives you diets, through MuFACE I speak to you.
But they already made it clear several times that if I were not MuFace, there would be time that they had kicked me.

For your work "you benefit" your endocrine, pay attention to me.
Another thing is the control that social security makes you,
Find out well, because they have to give you the same than in the INSS, even with the nurse who gives you the diets and monitors you;If the insurer does not have it, they have to send you (with zero cost for you) to the Social Security to be seen by the nurse of there. (But you continue with the insurer, without changing you I mean)
If you want more information on the subject, write me that I fought a lot with them.
You have the right to dietitist, (even if it does not come in any medical picture, dietitian in diabetic food, which is not the same),

Good has not been writing or writing in the forum, and I don't know if this message will be very recent or not, but I will try to tell my experience as well as MuFACE.
I lived in a town in Extremadura and belonged to Social Security, because there was not much more option.I was happy with the hospital monitoring and with the supply of strips and other material. For me the only problem were the days of analysis, I do not understand that to make an analysis I have to get to my work at 11: 00-11: 30 in the morning (because of the long lines there was).
When I came to Madrid I went to Adeslas, I have a medical center in front of my house. With the consultations of the endocrine I am very happy, and with the analyzes I do not even tell you (bass at 8:00 and at 8:10 I am already having breakfast at home, and I can go to work at my time).
The collection of material is something else. When you go they give you what you need (I give me about 9 boxes of strips and 4-5 of needles, of 0.5, each time, in addition to the lancets you need), yes, they only have a collection point in Madrid,It is in the Atocha round, and only attend from Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The other day was my partner in the afternoon and they did not attend him, we put a claim that I don't think it serves much.
To change to the SS look at it well, I think that not only is the January option anymore, you can also change in June (look at it and check the dates well).
I hope I have helped you.Greetings to all !!!!!

Good afternoon:
I have reached this forum because I have had to change my son to MuFace with Adeslas to take a concrete endocrine.
And we have no idea how to get strips and insulins.
With social security it was very simple.
MuFace has told us that we ask the doctor and the doctor has told us that Adeslas directly.
Thank you for telling us about the Atocha office (Nacho) and the things we can ask for (Jaime37)
As it is Holy Week we have not been able to ask, to see what they tell us next week, because the strips run out !!!
Greetings!

My mother is from MuFace, in this case DKV, in Salamanca, the strips, needles, etc. They are given the company in its office, insulin purchase in the pharmacy, the recipe is made in the Talonario of MuFACE directly, yes, what can happen is that you have to present a medical report according to the prescribed insulin or so thatThe company begins to give the strips. The only thing that has happened to her is that she has had to change glucometer a couple of times because they changed distributor, but they give you the little machine and the strips, and the old man has not asked for, so she takes advantage of the strips thatThey have left and then it starts with the new one, now they have not changed.I guess all companies will work more or less the same (at least for what I have read here), I don't think you have problems getting anything.
Greetings!

@Maiterubio, I am a MUFACE beneficiary and I go with DKV and you have to go to an office determined to look for needles, lancets and reactive strips (free). And like insulin, your doctor has to prescribe it to MuFACE TALONARIES.Insulin is requested in the pharmacy and pays 4 and something euros.Insulin Tresiba were forcing an office to seal Talonario. If you wear a bomb is another matter ...
Ahh and the carriers are asked for email and they arrive via mail.
Debut 46 â- 2012. DM1. Celiaquía e intolerancia lactosa. Anemia perniciosa.
MiniMed 640g + SmartGuard.
The MUFACE concert with insurers includes delivering reactive strips to the diabetic beneficiaries. But there is also the possibility that they are prescribed, of the brand you prefer, in normal and, prior visa, collect them in any pharmacy. There comes the mess, MuFACE does his best to resist the visa because via the strips he pays them mufface and via company assumes them. But if the conditions of the insurer cause you disorder, that you know that there is an alternative.

I have Adeslas and give me everything I ask for free, insulin is different, you have to go with a recipe and in the pharmacy pays what corresponds, I think it is 30%.It depends on the place where you live, in the cities you have more services than in the rural, for operations I keep the private, you do not have to be on the waiting list, it is all very fast and you can change your specialist as long as you are not satisfied,I have gone through several very delicate operations and I have left satisfactorily, I have the doubt that if I had SS, I would not be in this world, for the waiting time.I stay with the private and in my case Adeslas.

With endocrine or header report you go to you and already tell you where you give them.
They give you everything the doctor puts.
Lancetas, needles, everything.
Obviously the insulin pays the proportional part, but then the header is already recipe.
They also give you glucometer, for children the free is financed. And for adults the bomb (for children too)
