@ruthbia It is not difficult to diet with diabetes only that you have to keep a very thorough control, in your case that you are still on honeymoon, it is surely more complicated, I am not very clear because I did not have a honeymoon but I suppose it will beMore difficult, yes.Regarding sport, proves the same with something less intensity, and with meals, dinner very light helps lose weight, when I was with the diet I had only green and without olive oil or anything and today I still do it enoughBecause I avoid the quick puncture of the night and so I stay up to the morning with the totally flat glucose

I am also desperate, just like and I put insulin, I try to play sports, but more and more weight ... @"nigiri" Does the specialist you went to, where was it from?If it is from Madrid, could you tell me the name?I am willing to make the economic effort that is necessary, because I can't continue.

Thank you so much!

Now, it is a pasturial, I already tell you @"piruha".What made me change the guideline of insulin, I put the slow at night and now I put it in the morning, I told me that it favored that my body at night produce fat, it regulated the TSH thatThat is why it also cost me a lot of weight loss and the diet that followed was to eat every two hours and 0 fats, it took me to olive oil, and very little carbon hydrate TB.I left the diet on vacation and took 3 kg q to be vacations is not too much, I was afraid to have yoyo effect but not at all.

Despite a snack many days, there are nights that I am atrocious hunger, such as when you have a hypo.

I like few fats, my diet are vegetables and fish.Feals few, few ... getting up more uphill.Bread is perhaps the worst, but only how left home. That is 2 times a week, at most.

I do not know if with the honeymoon it is more difficult, what I have proven is that if I have not succeeded with insulin, at 3 hours when its effect ends, I am stable in whatever value, many hours.I do not see at the moment as my basal regulates that glycemia, at any time of the day."The glucose is not spent", unless you do some kind of exercise ... in those cases nothing lasts.

I am going to ask my endo to change the time of the main dose of Levemir in the morning and put the reinforcement in the afternoon, it may help me to mitigate the breakfast peaks.

Consult it @"ruthbia" I always had a beak before, now no longer, and practically every night hypoglycemia and most of the time I did not even realize, since I changed the slow morning in the morning I am much more regulated and I haveMuch less hunger at night I always had much more appetite at night than during the day.

Hello,
For the issue of the diet I would try the plate or diet method by points. It is not a strict diet but rather combine food properly without restriction, than not limit.
For the topic Sport Attention to when you do it because if you do not have hypos you eat before doing it what you lose you have earned it previously with the hiccup prevention intake ...
The endocrine recommended me to do sports after breakfast or eating, providing that the dose of the rapid should be less because with what you eat you can hold the effort. To this is added that although insulin does not fat it slows down weight.I've been a month and I lost 2pats!

Do sports that makes you win muscle (weights, crossfit, bodybpump) if you do activities where you sweat a lot and others you will be healthy but skinny.Tell the instructor of the gym room and you'll see!

Protein consumption (animal or vegetable) helps you lose weight.First because to process it the organism needs more energy and second that helps generate muscle.
If only caloric quantity is reduced soon the body that is wise learns to 'subsist' with less food and stagnates again.

It is that at no time have I said that you have not to eat protein @"karme", in my case, having only vegetables, I can have a flat blood glucose for hours, which really interests me and if I put protein very little, by theContrary Breakfast Protein, mid -morning if you peak something is usually protein and as a protein, you have not read all the whole thread of conversation. In any case, to lose weight, you have to eat less calories than we burn, that is so, you can already do it with the plate method, with a hypocaloric diet, or with the old woman's account, if you consume more than what more than whatYou burn, you will never lose weight. In any case, each person is a world and theirs is to deal with a professional, who today are very good, and to advise you.

Of course, playing sports after food intake is ideal but for that you don't have to work, I can only play sports in the afternoon and that requires snacking.
Protein keeps glucose better but only protein rises glycemia, so miracle diets such as Dunkan or Atkington without hydrate intake do not work.

My endo will tell me that I am fantastic of death (it always touches me behind someone with morbid obesity) but the gut molla is there... There is no way.I don't ask for so much 3-4 kg.

Less dish and more shoe.... They said before it is the same as burn more energy than you put.

Txus, you can search for information about the ketogenic diet: without eating almost any simple carbohydrates (flour, rice, potato, nor fruit), the body uses fats. From them it takes ketones or ketone bodies, which serve as hydrates. And you control blood glucose, which is the public enemy number one.
Some doctor can explain it better than me.

Yes, I have read all the thread, what I mean is that no matter how much the calorie intake does not move or also eat protein do not lose weight in the long run.You lose weight the first weeks (almost everything is liquid) and then or you stagnate or recover it if you start eating normal. The protein for the body to assimilate must 'spend' more energy than the vegetable, which ingesting protein two birds of a shot, satiates you and helps you burn. But on the other hand, if you spend, you don't lose weight either, arg !!!!
The misfortune of the diabetic who wants to lose weight is that on the one hand it must pay attention to glycemic rates and on the other to calories along with sport and combine the three things successfully is not easy ...

A ketogenic diet is not suitable for diabetics. In fact when debuting in diabetes I spend exactly that.Burn all the fat of my body and the protein, lowered 10kg and I had ketoacedosis that cost me a lot to eliminate.

I have proven that if as only carnica protein I need insulin several times because at 3 hours it goes up when processing the glucose protein.About 30% of the protein is metabolized in glucose and that requires insulin. Also if you get fat, less than fried potatoes but it is not free.

I already make a low diet in fats and hydrates.I lack the exercise but the latter gives me hiccups and eating again. It is a vicious circle

Lower the slow until you can exercise without having hypoglycemia (anyway, it is relatively normal that you should keep the glucose during exercise, before or posterior, with some HC contribution). If you keep the same slow it is normal for you to end up in hypoglycemia if you start having more activity than usual.

@"Karme" I would like to know when I said that you have to suppress the protein, your speech is wonderful but do not put in my mouth words that I have not said, please.

We can mention "in eternum" but it is you who says that dinner only vegetables to maintain flat blood glucose for hours.I neither criticize you nor judge you or anything at all just think that some protein should be eaten if you also want to lose weight and period.
Thank you

@"Karme" results, look, what a rare thing, that throughout the day apart from dinner I make many other meals, among which I include protein, so I insist, do not stay with a comment among a whole conversation thatIt comes from behind to release the Perorata on Nutrition, which I do not know what happens that with the boom of social networks now all are endocrine or nutritionists. In my case, it is very good for me to make light dinners and preferably only with vegetables to maintain stable blood glucose all night and comment, because as far as I know, this is a diabetes forum. In your case, other things will do well.
To lose weight, what this person has to do is to go to a professional and of course not eliminate any food group radically except what everyone obviously knows that it is not benefits, that is, ultraprocess food.
