The weather works well, the ACCU-CHECK also works well.And the sensor.It was my old Trueresult.: 300px;
I think no one has even commented ... this week in the LibreLink application a new "section" has appeared that puts alarms ...
I explain, before when you opened the application, the "bar," start and below the registration book and already a line and below all individualized options ...
Now when opening comes out
Start
Registration book
Alarms
And below the line and the usual options.
If you give alarms, he explains that it is only for free 2 and how the alarms works ...
It seems that they are preparing for free 2 ... great
Greetings, Rafa
I just read that to have alarms you have to start mobile and that it does not allow reading with the reader .. to see what comes out at the end and when
Some questions.I have the freelabre for 2 weeks, I am great.The endocrine has told me that you can see my data if I want to give access but:
1.-I can somehow remove the statistics of the measurements of every day of one month at a specific time.That is, if I do not give access to the endocrine to my data but asks me to take the measures of each of the days of both fasting and before meals.Is there a way to do it?
2.- It is assumed that my company Asisa gives me two sensors a month.If the month is 31 days?
3.- Does the company also give me reactive strips independently of the sensors?
thank you.

I go next week to the endocrine, to put on the first sensor, there is a protocol, a kind of informative session and they will tell me how many give me and how, I will tell you.I am from Andalusia.Those who are giving are the 2 or 1?, Because for what I see, the 2 has alarms and you should not buy Miao Miao or similar to put it on the free, right?.
Well, the sensors finally arrived, 2.5 weeks of delivery .... in short, stock break!
@"Paco Corzo" Date in Libreview ( Link it is an Abbott web application and there you can make the reports you want, per day, week, month ... etc..The data also downloads to Excel.
In Libreview it is where you discharge your doctor.I have mine, so when I'm going to consult the session and see my data.Before I left my mobile to disrupt, step to print or point anything.
In Asisa theory or the SS or the insurance that is to cover 365 days, so the 31 -day months you will have to go for the sensors so as not to run out of coverage.
In the SS they give you strips too, but less than before using sensors and according to autonomies.I buy Amazon because I do not give me the ones I need.
@meginer El Libre2 is not marketed in Spain although the app has updated for this more advanced sensor that launches alarms when you pass the mobile above.It is not like Blucon or Miau Miau that make continuous connection between mobile and sensor, and they alert you in "Real-Time", the free 2 only when you approach it.
For me it has no added value 2 because if I approach it, I see the measure, I do not need an alert.

When I had the Free, the reader gave the reader and she derived all the data on her computer.But I think the option that tells you @ruthbia

@Ruthbia the free 2 has hyper-hypipo alarms via bluetooth "real time" and notify you the freeLink, what happens is that to know the blood glucose you have to scan the sensor just like now, something that I do not understand the truth could be able toDo directly, that is, the hypo alarm sounds to you but to know the blood glucose you scan the same as now.-
Let's see if I find out about the free 2. You have to configure alarms, but you put it when you want me to notify you and whistle to pass the reader?, Is so?.Because, well, if so, if you have utility in the case of nocturnal hypoglycemia that is my problem because if you have notified you when you go down 65 for example and whistle, then you go, you pass it to you and now, right?.Or isn't it?
@meginer
Yes, I believe that it is basically the utility that the new free has 2. Notifying of night hypos.I think that was his greatest defect and that's why they have made this arrangement.

So it is quite effective, no?, Even if you have to spend the reader but it warns you that it is the important thing for nightlife.If it doesn't take long perhaps better to wait than Miao Miao, right?
@meginer Yes, this is how Free 2 works, you whistle the alarm and you escape to check it.The only problem that I see is the typical sensor that is reading you 20-30-40 mg/dl above or below that as below will be playing the alarm all day being in normal glycems;Conclusion, it lacks the option to calibrate when the sensor deviates ...
But with Miao for example, does glycemias give you real time?
Nobody talks about gluconight watch, I don't know if anyone uses or used it, I think it is more comfortable to put because it brings the bracelet and you don't have to hit the sensor, if you want to use it at night you put it on and if for the day no,You take it off, but I don't know if the experience is good or not.Thank you.
@meginer
Hello, I was Beta Tester of GNW more than a year ago when Abbott's sensor came out and used.In fact I only used it at night to avoid hypos.It worked very well!The transmitter battery lasted a lot and loaded with a simple USB cable.The app that helps to configure with them (they are in Valencia) term very well: with graphics and had alarms and I checked that they worked.Only for iPhone I think they had problems with the Apple Store, but not for Androids.It worked very well.The strip that put it to hold it above the sensor was very soft and elastic and three measures came, depending on the width of the arm.He didn't bother and fell asleep perfectly.
I really recommend it.
Ah eye gives you the sensor readings as they are, without algorithms.I liked that but you have to get used to seeing small differences between what the sensor reader reads and what the GNW app reads

Hello everyone, I am new to this forum, although I share this topic with you for 20 years, in addition to being able to help you in some issues as a doctor.During the last 10 years I have not monitored endocrinology in the public health service when working in private and other countries and having the health benefit.However, when I returned I have found in Extremadura the great reluctance that exists on the specialists of the Endocrinology of the SES to deliver the free freestyle and a "turn to the past" in the guidelines and forms of treatment, when I had to resort toSaid consultation only for free freestyle, a system attached to the SNS interherritorial council.I try to acquire free freestyle buying it but the initial kit is exhausted both in Spain and in Portugal.My question is: Does the applicator only come in the initial kit or each sensor brings an applicator?
@drjesusangel, each free freeyle sensor brings its applicator.
@drjesusangel The initial kit is simply that the sensors with the glucometer that serves to read the sensors, but if you are exhausted you can buy sensors and the glucometer separately since there is no difference, and if the glucometer is exhausted and your mobile hasNFC you can scan the sensors with the application of the mobile without having the glucometer.At the time I bought it in case at any time I needed it but the glucometer to scan I used it 3 months and I have not taken it again, I use the mobile and for capillary tests my normal glucometer
This morning I activated the second sensor.The first due to ignorance activates it from the mobile with what I could not do then the freestyle it brings.
By activating Prmero from Abbot's own reader he has allowed me to do it later from my mobile.
I have a series of questions:
1º.- At 8 in the morning, Free reader has marked me 99, on mobile 10 seconds later 115. Is this difference between one and the other normal?What should I use?
I knew that there would be difference, although I have had them minimal in the first sensor between the shot from the sensor with the mobile and the blood test but did not imagine between two instruments to take the level by the sensor.
2º I have also noticed that the level of glyc of the first period, estimated, changes the value of the mobile to the imported to Abbot applications.
3º The objective range of glucose should I mark it between 75 and 180 that was coming by default?
Thank you all, I know I'm being a heavy pco

Hello everyone, today I have gone to the informative session and setting the first sensor financed in my community, the protocol is a group informative session and then each one puts the sensor there.They have given us two sensors for the month and per month they see us again, they give us another two, and the third will tell us how they will do it because they still do not know, if they are going to be able to get into the health card asThe medications, if you will have to go to the hospital every 6 months or a year or whatever to pick them up ...
The truth is that it has been fine and we have shared experiences.Of course we have put it on the arm, because for the moment, they say what the company recommends although the nurse has told us that of course knows that people are also putting it in other areas, and that Abbot isstudying the similar efficacy of reading in areas such as buttocks.A question, what dressing is better to fix it more to the sensor when it comes to playing?When taking away the dressing, do you have to be very careful not to take the sensor?Thank you.
Elena
