My name is Fernando, I am type 1 diabetic for many years, I use infusion pump and the alternate depending on the activity to be performed.

Tell you that I am a lover of nature and sports of "risk" and that I wait every Sunday as May water to be able to go out with colleagues and do what I like the most (climbing, alpinismo, btt ...).

I am from Granada and here I am of course to help, connect, exchange with all those who like this way of taking advantage of free time.

What a great @solocotrompo!Welcome!
Hey, and out of curiosity. With 91 do you put that wall and without problems?Does I get out?It is not that I will now be climbing because I have always been very shit for those things, but it has been curious how the body usually reacts to those efforts.
Thank you!

Each one is a world @Miexron, but although it seems lies the same tension can make you raise the levels a lot instead of producing hypoblucemia that I think is what you mean

Miexron, I honestly don't know what the tendency of my glucose is going to be in efforts of this type, but over time I have learned to interpret and, "almost" that I can detect a hypo before it becomes something more severe, I am doingself -control depending on my sensations and thus I progress. In this type of activity the consumption of hydrates is not large, so the risk decreases and with good previous controls all this is minimized.
Jconegar we are sweet since the same year 1998, Jeeej! What a year!Well it wasn't so bad I met my wife
: D, I feel admiration for you that you put kilometric races, that is meritorious!, You have to control a lot to be able to give up so, I will try to learn from your steps, for the moment I have already bought some Speedcros, although I prefer snow andThe crampons,
I use insulin bomb, my last hemo was 6'8, and I always tryWe are going to do-, in my next review I will tell my endo the possibility of a continuous meter, because I have been seeing for a long time that you use them in demanding activities, and I really like that kind of adventure.
A hug to all.

When I climb I always carry the bomb, sometimes in high mountain activities of more than one day I spend three -way and fast humalog, it is more comfortable in those situations, my backpack always weighs double, in food I do not escort: D

Thank you for answering @Solocotrompo, it is good to hear that someone who has been in this for some time to detect the hypos, I always fall reading that those who take more travel stop perceiving them, and I fear that day, haha.
All the best!

@solocotrompo then thanks for the answer and for telling me how you place it, because it would have been the next question haha
The truth that I once proposed to do via ferrata, and no matter how much they told me that it was a facilitated and nothing dangerous, carrying the bomb and that I do not die in the attempt I throw me a lot behind. To consider changing Bolis would have been optional, but last year on vacation to be able to do more I changed me a week and it was a disaster, on account of the hypos in the end I could not do anything.

Gemater I carry Medtronic Parading and what I do is remove the clamp that is a bit roll.I put it in a vinyl cover we have for the glasses and from there to the pocket that is more comfortable.I have echoed in ice and snow runners with temperatures of -15 and it has worked wonderfully, yes, it was guarded as I have explained before. I assure you that you can do what you want. Another different thing is my glucometer, contaur net link, that with temperatures below 0, I have to heat it with my breath and my hands to be able to make it work. I have dared with canoe with the pump in a bag and preint it with a bit of a trust in case I overturned.:))
