Hello friends, as the subject says a nephew of my wife (my nephew I also believe) Diabetes Melitus Type1 Diabetes 4 years ago, the child at that time would have 9 years. They immediately took him with specialists (pediatric, nutriologists, psychologists for that of traumas) and obviously the treatment was with insulin (Humalog and Lantus) in addition to a good diet, I understand that it lasted a little more than 3 years. But my wife mentions me that her nephew has more than 8 months without using insulin and that her levels are very good and that this is supervised by her doctor. It is incredible that it is so because according to I diabetes melitus type 1 is not reversible. Will there be other cases like this?

If the pancreas does not work unless there is a miracle the diabetes does not cure.
