Hypos during the day, hyper during the night.

Hello friends!Well, recently I have been a month and a half as a type 1 diabetic and so far things have gone more or less well, with too many hypos, but mild, and I have been correcting my insulin dose until I thought I was stable with the following:

Humalog (fast): 8-8-8
Lantus (basal): 14 (about 00:30, before sleeping)

Well, it turns out that during the day I usually have one or two hypos, especially when I have eaten and the feeling of hunger appears, there normally, if not peak cookies, or nuts, I go to the hypo.

However, I have been a couple of days that the fast night is as if it did not take effect.I wear 8 you.And at 2 hours I am 273 (the case of today), having made goodness and eaten 6 portions of hydrates.

How can it be possible?Has the same thing happened to someone?

I am having very beastly peaks, in one day I can go from 330 to 50.

Greetings, and thanks!

You might need less basal insulin unit and two or three more units of fast insulin at night, but you have to experience yourself and/or consult your doctor/endocrine.
