Complicated question.It depends a lot on that you have dinner, because digestion may take three hours or more.With that figure I would not risk putting insulin and having a hypo.An alternative is to wait a little more and measure again.It also depends on your insulin sensitivity.There are people that a unit lowers 30 and another 60!Each person is very different.It would be very useful to check how much a fast insulin unit lowers you.It is easy.One day you have to put a correction, you sign up as you were before putting the unit and then that of the 2 and a half hours or three hours, and you control yourself.Of course, in between I don't eat anything.That will give you an idea of how your body reacts.The problem is that that factor sometimes varies, with what you must repeat that control from time to time.
