Good day ago I am type1 diabetic (dependent insulin) always before an episode of hypoglycemia I have consumed common sugar, Coca Cola or any other food "adding tablespoons of sugar" ... and long ago replace with "" "" glucose fructose "" ""(It is a white powder that can be added simply in water or any food) it is better than consuming sugar! ... since it is absorbed faster and does not generate inflammation in the stomach or intestines" "" and discoveredthat causes less acidity than sugar "" ".... I recommend this product always carry it with one, since it can be easily ingested and if it is necessary to compensate the glucose level! And for those who have acidity to drinkOr inflammation I hope this advice is useful.Hug .... Atte Pablo de Argentina

Yes as is ... it can be consumed as sugar: it comes powdered (so you can simply take it in a bowl, without water) but with water it is absorbed more quickly!
