Lilly Diabetes and the Federation of Spanish Diabetics (FEDE) will organize for the fourth consecutive year the 'Diabetes Cup' soccer tournament, in which children affected by the disease between 8 and 12 years can be registered until May 15.

For the nearly 30,000 children who live with diabetes in Spain, regular practice of exercise and healthy eating are fundamental to control their illness. It is also that the parents of these children lose the fear that their children practice sports and learn to live with the disease in the most natural way possible.

The initiative is born to approach the social normalization of the disease through healthy lifestyle habits and the exchange of experiences through exercise.

To register, through the website Link you just have to answer the question "Why do you want to participate in the 4th CUP diabetes?"and send a photograph, drawing or video where they expose their motivation to participate in the championship.

Once the registration period is finished, the Spanish Diabetics Federation (FEDE), together with other entities, will be responsible for choosing the 80 best responses among all the candidacies that are received.

Those selected, who will have to approach their closest local association to collect their accreditation, will be invited to participate in the 4th Diabetes CUP Spain, which will take place in Madrid on the weekend of June 27 and 28 in the city of football ofLas Rozas, along with two relatives.During the competition, children will be controlled by medical and specialized nursing health personnel.
