B.B.King, the so -called "King of Blues", has been discharged from the Las Vegas Hospital (Nevada) where he entered last weekend and is "much better" after suffering dehydration because of type 2 diabetes suffered, according to a statement from the singer collected today by the media.
"I want to thank everyone for your concern and good wishes," said King, 89, in a note published on his official website.
"I am much better," he added to the artist, who left the hospital on Tuesday.
B.B.King was diagnosed with the disease more than twenty years ago.
Angela Moore, representative of the King family, confirmed that the artist rests in his Las Vegas residence.
The musician began his musical career in the 1940s and has since published more than 50 albums.
King fell ill during one of his concerts in Chicago

The musician, considered one of the great guitarists of all time, entered the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1987.
