The ISYS Foundation, a non -profit entity specialized in health and new technologies, has placed the 'Social Diabetes' application in the first position of the top20 ranking of the best health applications in 2015.
The Top20 ranking rewards for the second consecutive year to applications, in Spanish and in Catalan, and aimed to the general public, which stand out "for having quality content, for their usefulness and for the interest they arouse among patients and users", according toA statement from the Foundation.
In an event held today, the ISYS Foundation has rewarded the five best Top20 applications: 'Social Diabetes', 'Dialysis 24 hours', 'Malariaspot', 'PDP Cancer' E 'Ictus'.
The ISYS Foundation has had the participation of more than 30 patient associations, which have collaborated in the application selection process, which has been presented 345 and of which only 55 have been incorporated into the ISYS catalog.
The ISYS catalog is prepared through the Iseyscore V.1 method, "an objective scale agreed by experts (doctors, nurses, patients, specialist in public health, social communication and technology), which allows to evaluate and score any health application."
The objective of the ranking is "to help users choose the best applications between the more than 165,000 health currently available for Android and iOS".
