Hello everyone,

I have ever told you, I think, that the current legislation gives all diabetics, without exception, a degree of disability of minimum 33%.We are of the opinion that a diabetic is not a person or disabled or disabled, quite the opposite, we are one of those who think and act in a way that we try to demonstrate that a diabetic is able to do everything that is proposed and therefore aPerson as capable as any other.Another thing is that if the legislation recognizes this disability, we stop benefiting from what we legally have the right, basically to tax benefits.

Jorge if you need help in this you attempt our phones and emails.

Greetings.

Many years ago if they granted us disability but changed the law and removed it.If we were going to review now I know that I fight not to differentiate me but it is also true that they will never tell us that we are the same, that we can never oppose certain bodies, it is sad but it is so.So if they consider us not valid for certain works and sanction us having to renew for example the driving license, we cannot have private health companies and if there is any everything is very limited, that they continue to grant the disability to be able to take advantage of the few exemptionsthat people have with 33%.What cannot be limited to us and then do not help

Hello,

I can talk about this because of our personal experience and the legislation we have at home.

Our personal experience is that in September 2013 they granted us 45% disability without mobility restrictions. In 2015 we reviewed the disabled by capsulitis in one arm and increases to 51%, permanently.

Current legislation is Royal Decree 1971/1999, of December 23.Another thing is what each valuation center does. But disability as such is recognized if the requirements marked by the Royal Decree are met.

I leave you link with the RD (it is quite extensive. We will be in the annexes, the diabetes is annex 1a chapter 9: Endocrine system):

Link

Regarding the Occupational Risk Prevention Law, it does not mention diabetes, if it is true that the social S. at the request of a worker can issue what is called a synthesis report, which reflects the incompatibilities of aPerson with some pathology referred to your job.

Well, nothing to do if there are no complications or decompensations with frequent hospitalizations ..

I have the monica disabilities I am one of the ancients of the group with 33 % but I am sure that I cannot go to a revision because I would take it away.
But could they be temporary disabilities? It sounds to me that someone has ever commented that.

Regarding the prevention of occupational hazards, and taking into account the definition and advice on diabetes, the main risk for a diabetic worker is rotating shifts, since they can cause inappropriate monitoring or control of the disease, which can lead to:

Disorders in daily habits and schedules of food and physical activity.
Infer in blood glucose control, (worker's sugar level).
Infer in the treatments received by the worker, (insulin or medication).
The INSHT (National Institute of Safety and Hygiene at work), advises to do shift jobs to type 1 diabetes workers;and type 2 diabetes workers require special surveillance if they perform work on rotary shift.

It is true that art.25 He says nothing about diabetes, but he says nothing of any disease, not even of women in a -speaking, he is very ambiguous like the entire Spanish constitution.
I start from the base that diabetes is considered a serious illness, and that already allows the businessman to take special protection measures.

What entrepreneurs as all this know, because they do not directly hire us and take off problems, they tell you that you do not fulfill the profile and run.
I is logical, I would not hire a person who has the possibility of causing lower (remember that the casualties are paid by the entrepreneur, the SS, the SS only pays the maternal casualties, not even the low low pregnancy) than other people) than other people(Although I have never missed my work for diabetes) or that I have a series of special care that with another person would not be necessary.

You have to deepen this issue, I believe as important as if the Dexcom works well, how many rations you eat,
As important as depending on your state you can retire before law.

And what we do hide as the turtles, we must press the institutions and specialists to get wet and give their face,
I only inform what there is each one to do what you think is convenient, but when you diagnose diabetes 1 that do not tell you that you lead a normal life, and less the nurses who have no idea
