Durán González, accompanied by the head of the Idey Juan Sosa Puerto presented in the boardroom of that institute the IV edition of the “World Diabetes Day 2015” race, which will be run on November 8 and will have as departure and goalThe Park of the Americas.The distances will be 10 and 5 kilometers.
This event is expected to participate from a thousand runners, a figure improves last year in which only 700 athletes were registered.
The president of that agency said that unlike other races in this there will be no cash prizes but the athletes will participate in a raffle of appliance articles, in addition, she anticipated that within the framework of the event there will be glucose and stand take where the information will be givenabout this disease and how to prevent it.
The registration will cost $ 120 and $ 150 for those who want to register the last day and can be made from October 15, he said that the collected will serve to support 45 scholarship children that the association has.
