Asymptomatic way I mean
Diabetes 1 and Celiacía
Asymptomatic way I mean
Papa niño 3 años diagnosticado julio 2017. Uso medtronic 640 con sensor enlite. Ultima glicosilada 6,3.
Diagnosticado noviembre 2019.
@Dalu those values of 7.61 are totally normal
My question is for those diabetic mothers who have celiac children (in my case 1) if you are not tired of hearing little expert people who, by having celiacchy, are more likely to develop diabetes, I have heard otherwise and instead I made myselfThe tests and I am not celiac but my son is celiac and my fear is to develop diabetes
@anicordoba @yaizaj
THANKS AND MUCH ANYMY FOR ALL
@Vero83
Hello!Here a type1 diabetic celiac.
In my house we are 4, my sister and me diagnosed with 3 and 5 years respectively of Celiacía, years later to my parents (yes, at 2).The thing stayed there, without more.Then, at 24 years I was diagnosed with diabetes ... They explained that when you have 1 autoimmune disease the chances of developing more are much higher.Today my sister is still only celiac and I now, in addition, also have hypothyroidism.
With this I want to demonstrate that in the end this is a lottery, it can happen to you or not, but there are multiple factors that influence, unfortunately it is impossible today to know if we will develop a disease or not, much less the autoimmune that hardlyNothing is known about how they work.
I think it is best to live the moment, and if it happens you will worry, but better enjoy what you have.
All the best!
T1 diagnosticada a los 24, tengo 31.
Además soy celiaca y con muchas alergias alimentarias, entre ellas profilina. Recientemente diagnosticada con hipotiroidismo también.

Thank you for your answer, the truth alive with fear if, to the point of having to wake up at night, because it does not let me sleep my dream thinking if my son or daughter has made more pee than normal or has drunk more water thanNormal, in my case we did the tests and we are not celiac my parents either (or diabetics, this came to me "luckily" I had no history and live with that fear if, but not because of the celiacch that is bearable,but for diabetes, in short, a horror ...
@Vero83, do not live with that anguish because it is of no use. That is Celiac can give some more probability, but not much more.
Do not think about it, that it is not good for you either.
You have to learn not to think about what does not help.
Hija de 35 años , diabética desde los 5. Glico: normalmente de 6 , pero 6,7 la última ( 6,2 marcaba el Free)
Fiasp: 4- 4- 3 Toujeo: 20

Yes, you are not right, but sometimes it is inevitable to think
Hello.Type 1 diabetes and celiacy are autoimmune diseases.That is, the cause is a dysfunction of the immune system through which it attacks and ends destroying certain cells of the organism itself.
Although the cells are different, a part of the pathology is common, which results in the diabetics suffer from celiacy more frequently than non -diabetic or vice versa with celiacs.
In Spain, periodic controls of type 1 diabetes have long included specific tests to detect celiacy and other autoimmune diseases.

hello,From my diagnosis, I am becoming quite good to search Google things related to diabetes.
I was struck by several studies mentioned on the web that link type 1 diabetes (DT1) and celiachism, and that people with DT1 should carry out celiacía studies, since we are more likely to have it too ...
Is it that this disease predisposes absolutely to everything bad?
Have you performed controls about it?
Does anyone have celiachism too?
Greetings.
Hello, I write to you from Lima, Peru.I have the diagnosis of celiac 8 years ago (I have 54) and I have been diagnosed with DM1 a year ago.Two endocrine doctors have told me that both diagnoses are closely related since both conditions are self -immune.They tell me that many celiacs tend to develop diabetes 1. I am not sure if the statistics apply the other way around.
Greetings,
