Mérida.- The Yucatecan capital will have a Municipal Center for Nutritional Care and Diabetes (CEMANUD), first unit in its type in the region.

This installation will offer comprehensive services related to nutrition in prevention of obesity and diabetes, in addition to psychological consultation and a special space for breastfeeding.

In a statement, the City Council of Mérida said that this center will be inaugurated on Friday, January 30, and a health fair, school visits to the Mercadifto and a kitchen course, among other scheduled activities from January 26.

The DIF Mérida, through CEMANUD, will celebrate the day of the Nutriologist, on the 27th.
