I know that it varies from person to person, but how many units of Lantus it is assumed to carry a child of 5 to ~ os os

The answer is usually: the ones you need;)

Normally, at the beginning of the treatment it is calculated based on weight, more or less based on 0.2 units per kilo of weight.
Then adjust.Before puberty it is usually around 0.5 units per kilo, that amount usually bends.

But each one is a world, and it is the endocrine pediatrician who must value it better.

When Angela started with a bomb, at 6 years and peak, I think I remember that she had about 9 basal units (that is, about 11 of Lantus, more or less), but as Owash says, it depends on the weight ... now, with 14years and about 52 kg.Weight, it has a basal of 28.7 units.
