Health card in two communities

What can be done when living between two communities, with the health card?

Until now, my daughter was in Madrid as displaced and could go to the doctor there when I needed it, but here in Oviedo she has her endocrine and I picked her up for the material every month.

The other day, when going to the ambulatory for the material, they tell me that they cannot give it to me because it no longer appears as inscribed here, that the problem will have been discharged in Madrid and discharged here.(Thus, without consulting or anything).

I'm going to discharge it tomorrow again and I hope you give me the same doctors and nurse.

Can you request that you continue with the same doctors, right?

In Madrid, when I have to go to the doctor, he will have to go for the emergency room, because if not, they return it back there, and in June he has already lived in Oviedo.

Total, that when there is a chronic disease, and you live between two communities, I do not know what can be done so that they can attend you without problems in both places.

What do you advise me?

Greetings!

Hello Regina
When they are discharged, you have the option to choose the doctors, and in any case, the patient quota had complete, at 3 months of the discharge, we can change doctor. It has also meant many discomfort (in my case, living in 3 different communities)

When I needed to go to the doctor in another community, I have gone to the health center, next to home, and I have been assigned one, I have not gone by emergency, but the only thing they have provided me is a recipe for insulin, and thatWith a lot, nothing at all, not a strip.

My advice, as you say that in June he returns to Oviedo, I would stay in Astursalud.

Thank you, Olmo, I have already discharged it here, but I could not take the same doctor or nurse.
I had to talk to the doctor and told me to see the new nurse, putting me paste .., that if a new endocrine report .. total that, meanwhile, we are going to run out of material this month.I hope they give it to me soon, because if not, we will have to buy it.
What has given me the most anger is that they have discharged us here, without asking anything.
As you say that in 3 months we can change my doctor, we will do it, because with the other nurse there was no problem, I even left the material in a large envelope, as if it were a recipe, and I was going to pick it up when it had been fine.Let's see how it goes with this.:-/

Hi Regina ...

I leave the link to process the specialist online. As you put, you can choose the desired specialist, you have to download the documents, fill them and present them in the specialized care management.

Link ... tp.lag = es

You are lucky and everything is very good.

Regina, why not the registration in Llanes?
For endocrine purposes, there will be no change. And in doctors, if you ask Pastor, it is your turn of a nurse, which facilitates your life in a great way.Total, once a month you collect the material and voila, and she also leaves you the material to pick it up, you or your mother if you want.

Well, I have already today with the new nurse and there has been no problem.I had talked to the previous nurse and I had already prepared the material, and it will give it to me as always. So everything very well. What he told me is that they were restricting the diabetic strips with oral treatment ... but for those who have insulin continue to give us the same.
Greetings :)

When you go by emergencies I understand that you can choose to obtain the service of a doctor of your choice, however, the patient is another issue, a nurse of your choice can provide you with a service but not the same, however, the service providedFor each of them it is very good, I recommend that you give an opportunity.Anyway, if you prefer to be 100 % informed, here you can make your queries Link you need.

Thank you,@ louftsimon, this thread is already several years and time already solved because it is living in your community. The European card also has it.Although it is still a problem to temporarily change community and not be able to have material coverage in both.
