We are about to meet 5 years of operation of the forum.

We have thought about a study on how participation in the forum has influenced for each of you.
For this we have designed a brief survey of 35 questions about various issues that relate your diabetes and the forum.

The link to the survey:

The survey is anonymous, we do not need or ask for personal data.
So you have the maximum freedom to answer the questions.
We do not care if you participate more or less usually in the forum, we intend to know how useful you have been the forum.

We have no commercial or profit courage with this work.
The results will be presented in this same forum. With the results we will also contribute to describe the reality about the diabetes and social networks relationship in meetings, congresses, forums, studies, publications, etc.

Do not forget that except for the active Facebook groups, we are the only forum of patients with diabetes in Spain.

Any questions or suggestion can send me a private or a mail to

Thank you very much for answering the survey and thank you very much for your participation in the forum.

Survey made.Very interesting that you want to know the results.
I do not understand much but I think it would participate more if the survey option in the general index came out, I do not understand much of managing forums but I launch the suggestion.

On the other hand, Owash do you have any date to close the survey?

Thank you all for being here.

I will see if I leave the message as fixed in all subforos and have more visibility.

Quim, I would like to close the survey in the middle of December or the end of the year, as late.

The goal is to have 100 surveys ... It would be a statistical sample of a good size.

As I point in the first message, except on Facebook, there is no other Spanish diabetes forum.
Therefore, the study we are trying to do is the first of this type that is done in Spain.

We are just in the middle of the objective .... We have 50 surveys collected, we would like to reach 100 to be able to do a great job with that data.

Whether you usually participate and otherwise, you should fill in the survey ...

The forum not only serves to write but also to read, I am sure that many people read us and participate. You can also answer the survey ... There are 5 minutillos of nothing.

I have already done mine, but I must say that there are questions that do not offer the range of answers that cover all the options. In several of them I have had to mark one that did not correspond to what I should say.You have to cover the options. And if it is not possible, always leave an option to fill out.

Thanks Gon, I appreciate your collaboration.

You are right, perhaps there would be questions that should have specified more, but the intention is to extract data and if I left the answers very open I could find a lot of information that I could not relate.

Bieennnn we are already in 57 surveys collected ... that at 25 pesetas each is 1425 pesetas :)) :))
It is a joke, that we do not collect any money from this.

To all who read us sporadically, you can participate in the survey, it is anonymous, we do not register any type of data, not even the IP

One more push and we planted in the 70s already ... which would be an already respectable sample.

Last week of survey collection ...

We are in 61 ... far from the initial (ambitious) objective of 100.
But enough to do a good job with the data.

Thank you all who have bothered to answer.

And to those who have not filled the survey yet, please do it.
Even if you never write, opinions are always well received.

We have reached the end of survey collection.

65 valid surveys, it has been the number with which we have finally stayed.
Round number
As I said before the goal of 100 was ambitious, we have not achieved it, but with 65 we can do a quite ahead study.

I thank you all for the collaboration.

Now the results analysis phase begins.
Then we will prepare the conclusions and finally write the study.

We will keep you informed.

Now that the forum has been updated, this survey could be reviewed and see how to start some of the conclusions, do not you think?
