Friends:
Some time ago I had managed to stabilize the values with a repair 2 mg (2 in the morning, half and night) and 28 Lantus units at night, but for 2 days the measurements increased again; not much, but increased.

Specifically, the questions are:

Once the measurements are normalized, what factors can influence it to alter it?

How last night did the dose of Lantus increased a unit, how many days should I wait to go up and/or lower another unit?

Thank you and cordial greetings for everyone.

2 days is little time to check alterations.
Nervations, heat/cold, diseases, drugs, infections, hormones, lantus injection site, increased weight, exercise, food, glucometer change .... almost everything affects glycemia.

I usually look at the trend for 1 week, both to verify alterations of "stability" and to verify the effectiveness of the changes.

Keep in mind that variations of 20 or 30 mg/dl in blood glucose are normal in any glucometer.
