Sensitivity factor

Hello chic@s!As the insulin sensitivity factor is calculated, my son has a target 90 to 150 mg/dl
Endo has given me these guidelines to correct it,
150 to 200 = 0.5 Humalog
201 to 250 = 1 Humalog
251 to 300 = 1.5 Humalog
301 to 350 = 2 Humalog

For more than most and rest and divide to me do not give me the calculations .... They can explain how the sensitivity factor is calculated please !!!

It seems that an insulin unit lowers 100 glucose, so it gives you half a unit to lower 50 ..

Take a look at the link .... In that thread we talk about the sensitivity factor and the corrector bolus.These calculations are for pump, if you carry basal + fast you must add the total number of basal + units the total number of fast units that are put.
