Hello everyone!My name is Iris and I'm 22 years old.Debute in December 2010. I am of type 2 and I put on Lantus in the morning and 2 metformin pills per day one in food and another at dinner.And I have it stabilized the best I can.I found this forum a few days ago and I dared to register since it serves a lot and I will try to help me as possible.

Hello Iris.

Being so young it is not too frequent (although possible) that you are type 2. Have you done all the tests to determine if you are type 1 or type 2?Have you seen you an endocrine?If not, ask for consultation with an endocrine and that you do the pertinenetes tests, because if type 1 metformin will not help you.
