SCHEDULE DIFFERENCE

DiabetesForo's profile photo   10/06/2008 5:20 a.m.

As some you know I am preparing a trip to the Dominican Republic to spend the Christmas holidays and I have a small problem. There is a time difference of -5 hours.Angel gets the lantus at 8 in the morning.Someone who travels often or have a little more idea than me how do I solve the difference in the schedule to the first leg and then just around?
Thank you so much.
Peace

If they are a few days, I would maintain the European schedule, without modifying, and so you do not complicate.
If they are more days, see little by little a few days before and do the same on the way back.

Hello Paz .... I think about Alea, and if you want to modify it, see the time delaying a couple of hours every day a few days before going and the same when returning.

A hug.

There are 9 days, maybe keep the schedule even if I have to put the Lantus at 3 in the morning.Thinking well, as always at dawn, you have to measure it, take advantage and put it on it and thus we will better control the alba effect, hormones or whatever it makes it so high.
Thank you so much
