hello to all!@krrs, @Angelaruiz, I hope your things are going well, I feel not being able to help you since I do not know both themes, you will tell us.
I currently 23+5, with a 5.5 hemo, but lately with many peaks ... I wanted to make a couple of consultations: how many fetal echocardiograms are going to do you or have you done to you?I made one at 19 weeks and how it went well, apparently they will not control it anymore, and I don't know if it is usual ...
On the other hand, in what week did they give you the work decline?Neither my endocrine, nor in ginee they say anything, work seated game, that I have no risk, but I find it very difficult to control sugar levels like this ...

Hello, I have read you and I have felt curious about the issue of leave and work sitting.Have you got it ??

Hi @VIACCA, I'm going to take it this Friday, at 26 weeks. But not by risk but for common illness.Working by departure in commercial hours and sitting many hours is doing dust my levels. The header doctor no problem.

Hi @Angelaruiz I had to remove one last week, apparently I was increasing with pregnancy.Without problems, the only thing that could not be with laser had to put some anesthesia and a scalpel, but nothing. In dermatology they will tell you right away

Hello everyone!

I was already here a couple of years ago with my first baby.Well, now I am pregnant with the second !!I am very little, 4+5, and I look new again, I don't remember anything !!!

The thing is that I have been doing diabetes well for a long time, I have the hem in 5.9 but now I have been a week that I have a fairly large resistance to insulin (since I know I am really pregnant), and every day more ...I upload the toujeo and the next day I have to raise it even more ... it happened to you?Did you have the first weeks? How many weeks did it last you?The truth is that I am quite worried, it represents that now it is when it is most important to be well and stable for everything to form well and I taller than ever ...

I remember that in the other pregnancy if I had a little resistance, but not so heavy and I immediately started with the hypos ...

Anyway ... start again !!!!!Very very excited but more scared if it is possible than with the other pregnancy ... I had a lot of bad.

Hi @Gha congratulations on your pregnancy !!!
I was increased by the resistance for the first weeks, I would say that it went to La.semana 8 when hypoglycemia began.
Good luck and encouragement !!

Hello girls, like Gha I was also here 4 years ago when I was pregnant for the first time and now, I'm not yet but I'm considering looking for the second, but to be honest I am afraid to think about getting pregnant againAnd not because I had a bad pregnancy or a bad childbirth, quite the opposite, it was all great, but at the psychological level I had a very bad 8 months (they induced it 1 month before) and although they all told me that everything was correct and thatI would not overwhelm me very badly with the resistances, inexplicable climbing, descent ... and I just remembered that for this forum they helped me a lot in my low days and that is why I have returned. To join this great family again that among all and with so many advice we help ourselves with our great life partner ... I like to follow you and see how you evolve. It encourages me a lot :)

Hello everyone !!!
I am type 1 diabetic since I was 6 years old, now I am 30 and I am starting to consider pregnancy.
I have the hemo in 7.4 I know that I have to get it down to <7 and that I have to stay like this 6 months?
Well, I have an appointment with my endocrine in May and I will raise the subject.
I usually have postprandial peaks of 200 or more, although after 2 hours they correct me, but the truth is that it costs a lot, and it is what gives me the most.I skewer insulin of-co-ce and many times after the intakes, and it is still difficult ... the issue of insulin pump interests me, helps control postprandial levels ???
I am about to tell my endocrine to see what it seems.
Anyone who has improved postprandials with the pump ???It is what produces the most headaches ...

Hello @celii !!The truth is that to improve the posts, the only thing that works for me is to put on the bolus 30 min before eating if I give birth of more than 90, lower the amount of hydrates that as and calculate them very well, it is a roll but despite it everything touches🤷
Much encouragement!

It is very important that you lower your glycosylated hemoglobin less than 7 since if you have it high and you get pregnant you can there are complications for your baby, such as macrosmimias, rciu etc

I have put the insulin bomb 4 months ago, for pregnancy forecast.I have not yet noticed results, on the contrary, when putting it in 7, and a month after being with it 7.3, at the beginning it is an lack of control until you adjust the basal.I keep trying and I hope to improve that value, but the pump is not everything

Hello everyone, I would like to know if any of you have become pregnant using threeiba or toujeo, I will start trying it shortly but my endocrine tells me that I would have to return to the lantus and I would not like.He told me that if I know someone who has followed in pregnancy with threeiba or toujeo who tries to find out what specialist he has treated it to know if a sampling is being carried out in Spain with this insulin in pregnant women.Let's see if someone can help me!Greetings and thank you very much :)

It is very curious because in my first pregnancy they told me that the lantus was not good during pregnancy but nevertheless now that I want to look for the second they tell me that the toujeo is contraindicated and that it should return to the lantus ... how the opinions of the opinions ofA few years to others. It seems that it is not good so I would not risk and return to the Lantus but more lack of controls of the usual ones we will have ... Anyway.

@nigiri, my endocrine has told me that I can continue with Toujeo without problem, that although it is not very proven in pregnancy it is very similar to the lantus and that the risk is minimal.I left the lantus because I was fatal, I did not cover myself 24 hours a day, I peak me and with Toujeo I am great. So he told me that he sees less risk in continuing with Toujeo and carrying well -controlled glucose than to return to Lantus and bring the glucose badly.
I think it depends a little on the endocrine, there are no risk to give you something that has not been very proven in pregnancy and others yes.He told me that Toujeo is based on Lantus so the difference in composition is minimal and there are already some women who have used her in pregnancy without any problem, so in cases like mine she sees much better option to continue with her than to changeAnother that I will be worse. The fast for example if I changed Apidra to Humalog that is much more proven because the difference in this case in the glucose is not important and if it is worth the change.
If you are convinced that you prefer to continue with Tresiba or Toujeo insist and seek other opinions because there are in some cases that is used in pregnancy.I believe that the issue is that since there are no studies with her, she is afraid of them but really people who have used it if there are, but not doing a formal monitoring as it would be done in a study do not have what they grab in casethere is some problem.

@Yessica_a thanks for your comment. The thing is that this has been coming for a year what happens that I have had to wait for the issue of macular edema. In his day I told my endocrine that I knew cases of girls who had continued the pregnancy with these insulins, he told me that he was going to be informed and what has been my surprise when when he returned to consultation he still knows anything ... I have spoken byPrivate with a girl from Madrid from the forum that they carry in the clinician and I will tryavoid.Greetings and thanks!

@aruky is not that it is contraindicated, it is that there are not enough cases to contrast it and above all, a study in pregnant women is not going to be paid because they are not interested, this was told by my endocrine yesterday but the reality is that there are cases of cases ofpregnancies with toujeo without problems.

Good to all.I wanted to make a query.I want to start looking for the second pregnancy shortly and although I already went through this 4 years ago I am as if it were the first time.I currently have hemoglobin in 6.3 and I would like to know your opinion to get pregnant with that value. When I had my son, he was not scheduled and had the hemo in 7.5 and during pregnancy he went down to 6.4 maximum and yet my endocrine and my educator told me that it was not bad being not exceeding 7 .... Do you think the same ???The fact is that I try to lower the hem even more but I have asymptomatic hypoglycemia and I have lost to knowledge so I think that perhaps with the levels I have they are correct for pregnancy without risking more.I don't know, I think that no matter how much I try to download it, I fuck my fucking !!!
