Hello everyone:
Let's see if you can help me.I have type 1 diabetes for 1 year and a half.In the last analysis my hemoglobin was in 5.5, very good, but now I just put the patch 2 weeks ago as a contraceptive method and since then I can not control my glucose ... Is it normal for the first days the bodyuncontrolled?I was also thinking that I have agreed that I have to administer more insulin ... I'm still in the honeymoon phase.I have an appointment with the nurse on January 31 but I wanted to know something before that day ... Muchas thank you.

Greetings

Hello!
I used the patch for a season and noticed a great variation in glucose.I finally changed the pildoras, and so far no problem.I would advise you to ask the endocrine, or even the gynecologist, maybe there are other patches that are better.

All the best!

Thanks Ana, it was for knowing if any more had happened to him ... Yes, I will ask the endocrine, although at the moment I put on some more doses and it seems that something else has lowered me ... greetings !!
