I would like to know what causes high sugar levels constantly, in the morning my mother has more than 500 because the glucometer does not mark anything and at dawn it also rises, it worries me and I think that it must have another disease that makes its diabetesIt is complicating, as a hernia of 22 years ago, will that have to do?
He has more than 2 months like that, day he fails to stabilize his sugar, urine a lot and his skin looks very dry, give me his opinions, I want to show this question to my sister, she thinks that injecting insulin is fixed everything, and that my momShe is used to having high sugar when it was not so.

If you have these values, you need to increase the insulin dose. As time, in type 2 diabetes, they usually increase insulin needs, and have to be adapted to have controlled glucose.
