@Dani76 The toujeo I think is not tested yet in young children but, if it goes well with Lantus, you can wait a bit.

Hija de 35 años , diabética desde los 5. Glico: normalmente de 6 , pero 6,7 la última ( 6,2 marcaba el Free)

Good, I used it as a child and I was scheduled every 8 hours, I mean 3 times a day, until the lantus came out and now with the tuojeo.
