"People with diabetes have to control their glycemia through deep and adequate knowledge of their disease and from the SED Foundation we want to contribute to this formation in a significant way," said Dr. Bernat Soria, president of the SED Foundation.

For Dr. Edelmiro Menéndez, head of the HUCA endocrinology and nutrition service, “it is tremendously important that children learn to live with their illness and control it from an early age.Health professionals must be very involved in these educational activities that help children normalize their situation. ”

For its part, Margarita López Acosta, director of the Sanofi Diabetes Unit, has stated that “as a company committed to diabetes, our vision is to help people with this disease as well as professionals who treat them in their dayday to improve its management. For this, education and awareness are key factors and that is why I believe that this project is especially relevant since it is the young people themselves who translate their vision of the disease contributing to improve these two aspects. ”
