To the group:
I think I correctly inject the lantus, this is with the needle and pen perpendicular to the belly, but they still appear bruises in the application areas.
What can be due?
Thanks and Salu2

What needles do you use?It happened to me with the 8mm, as I changed to the 6 mm, never again.
Thanks for the Prado data.
I have 8 mm indeed, so I will find out for 6.
The only doubt is whether with my belly, the clearest "brewery", with that measure the insulin reaches where it owes.(?)

Yes, if it arrives ... except extreme cases.
An extreme thinness causes you to click on vein or artery.
A great obesity causes you to click on a fatty tissue without reaching subcutaneous tissue.
In most cases, a 6 needle works perfectly and without the need for pinch.
Is that now that I think about Owash .................. I never "pinches".
But seen what is seen, I will buy the 6 and I will check it.
And, as always, thanks for the information.
