Low insulin and glucose

Hello everyone,

I just returned from visiting the endocrine (Dr. Santiago de la Fuente Gil-Alcalá de Henares, Madrid) because I suffered overweight for about 18 years and now I have about 10k.
MIDO183CM, 98K, Constitutional genotype is large of bone structure, 50 years. No uric, no cholesterol.

Dr. is detected a possible clinical case of metabolic syndrome, and to do the homar test, request glucose and insulin analysis.Well, with low glucose and insulin results, it has no ratios to perform the aforementioned test, so it argues as possible causes of these factors physical exhaustion (which does not tire). That is, I crush 5 days a week at the Gym, I do spinning and musculation.I take animal cuts to try with this thermogenic losing weight, without having achieved it since apparently as my problem has told me it is now that I have the muscles very saturated and no matter how much insulin that plugs my body, my body,Everything goes to the muscle. So it is not left to eliminate fat and therefore not low weight.

It seems that if it had a more balanced diet of C. hydrates and proteins - the carbo at noon - it would have more its own energy, I would adjust the insulin properly and therefore would start eating fat and lower weight.

I would like to know your opinion about it and if you consider that a thermogenic like the one that uses can affect normal functioning.

Thanks and greetings

I am not being able to help you with respect to thermogenic and those things, because it is not an issue that you know.

Regarding weight loss, the fundamental thing is to put yourself in the hands of a good specialist.I believe that the ideal is a balanced diet, without suppressing hydrates at all, because they are fundamental. From what you say, you do a lot of gym, but perhaps it is not the most appropriate exercise to lower weight, because in the gym the musculature is usually sought.

As Dr. Marañón said, to lose weight, the only thing that works is undoubted

Those gym diets, with so much protein and with so limited hydrates, ends up the liver and kidneys and is not very healthy.
