Hello everyone
I present myself,
My name is Fran and I am from Albacete. I have 31 years old.A little over 1 year ago I was diagnosed with diabetes (dry) by my header. After a season with metformin at the beginning and then Zomarist, in June he had 6.9.In October a new analytics revealed a slight increase (7.2) and in November after some more test of changing medications, hours and others, they sent me to the specialist (after changing the header doctor). Two months later, they met me: Shock: And they already made some more test (hemo of 8.5:-/), glucagon test and antibody exam ... result, clearly t1.For a week or so I am insulinized. At the moment Lantus 30ud and Novorapid 6-12-10.
As doubts I have 1000, first I will soak up everything there is here and then I will ask you things.

All the best

Welcome to the forum and the world of insulin :?
Within the bad, the logical thing is that using insulin are better in the short term and especially in the long term you have many more possibilities to dodge the complications of diabetes.

I see that you are one of the many victims of the little professionalism of some doctors: Oops:

Up to the left of the web you have a search engine, but you clarify or want to ask something more concrete do not hesitate to participate in any of the open threads or create one.

Thanks for the welcome!

The truth is that I have only 6 days with insulin and my feelings right now are somewhat contradictory. On the one hand, I feel comforted for already having a correct diagnosis and relieves me to think that I must go to better in terms of the happy measures that bring me head a few months because there was no way to control that. However, on the other hand, I feel completely absorbed and a little overwhelmed by the new situation.Right now it is not just that they have "recommended" or "warned" that I control the food, the measures, the doses, etc. but that I need it and I am the one who drives to have an absolute control.I sign out what, with their respective tables, I have made an application in access quite complete to go aiming everything, I am constantly measured, I have eighteen alarms on my mobile that continually let me know what I have.Anyway, as I say, I've been 6 days and I do nothing but be aware.I suppose it is transitory and time, custom and automate everything will allow me to pay attention to the rest of the facets of life.

greetings
