Do you know if the cold affects the glycometer reading?

Well, it depends on the glucometer, you can read it in the instructions.
If you have them, you can always turn to Sangoogle.
My glucometer has these specifications:
Operating intervals
Temperature: 6–44 ° C.
Altitude: Up to 3,048 meters
Relative humidity: 10–90%
Hematocrit: 30–55%
Outside those intervals the glucometer gives error.
With the rest of glucometers the figures must be similar, I suppose.

When I am going to ski, I have to take it inside the jacket because if I carry it in the backpack or start. The bomb has given me some problem at altitude

I have proven that if I have cold, the measurements are lower.Although the glucometer has been in a temperate place.

Hello colleagues.
Because the glucometer can fail in slightly extreme temperatures.I am a traveler at the moment I had no problem.
When it is very cold, it is as easy as taking the apparatus and putting it in both hands for a few minutes. With the body's own heat it has to be enough.
For heat it is being in the umbrella and would have to work.
A hug, Quim
