Comment Type 2 Treatment

PEPE's profile photo   12/23/2009 1:35 p.m.

I have type 2 diabetes.

I am new in the forum and I do not know how to raise my question or comment.

My diabetes treatment is through the Social Security Header (General Medicine) and I do not consider it very expert in diabetes;I understand that initially I had to send me to the endocrine and once done by this the corresponding analysis and studies put a treatment and then follow the head doctor.

I count the above because I started taking 1 Novonorm 1mg tablet, before each meal, and a few months ago I has increased the medication with a compressed more from glucobay 100 (100 mg) before each meal (3 daily), producing this last medicationMany gases and digestive disorders.

I have commented on this incidence and the Glucobay 100 (100 mg) for 50/850 eukreas has changed me.
Looking at the 50/850 Eukreal Prospect, it is quite strong and complicated from my point of view.

Does anyone have any similar treatment?

Any opinion about it?

Congratulations parties for all

Thank you

Eukreas combines in the same metformin pill and incredine (vildagliptin)
But I remember badly began to be marketed last year.
Seeing the Vademecum, there is a 1000mg presentation so the amount that has been paid is not excessively strong.
Incredines enhance beta cells to produce more insulin

Normally, the medication begins by taking metformin (Dianben, usually), if there is no good control, Novonorm is added (for example) ... and if there is no good control you can pass to the incredine (DLPP-4)

To me, the glucobay seems very loose if there is no good control ... all it does is slow the absorption of carbohydrates and thus reduces glycemia.

If the treatment is adequate or not, it depends on the control of diabetes (if glycosylated hemoglobin is good and there is no hyper or repeated hyperglycemia) the medication works.

Hi Pepe:

Welcome to the forum, I also have diabetes mellitus 2, from the beginning I went to an endocrine, in this case endocrine, after many tests he sent me metformin 850, I currently take a pill distributed in food and dinner (with an always full stomach).I have also requested an appointment with Endocrine of Social Security, so I will be more controlled and quiet, my controls are very good and without problems.Pepe thinks that each disease requires a specialist not a header.Metformin always gives gases and diarrhea is quite uncomfortable.

Happy parties.

Owash, your comment, I consider it very interesting.

Surprised by the speed in which I have been given an answer.

Thank you so much.

I have Type 2 diabetes principle, the usual in people of sedentary habits, not burn a lotIn the postpicible sugars, exercise, drink enough water a day, etc.;But in the end I had to decide to prescribe some medication because in my controls I exceeded the tolerable limits.I was prescribed metformin, which is the most used and they say it results, but it gives me impressive diarrhea, I do not tolerate or half a pill. Then I took Ucrea brand pills, but as its composition is vildagliptin and medtmormin, because equally diarrhea, so I have prescribed a pill a day of 50mg vildagliptana.I will see how I am doing, but if I can avoid the medicines as much as possible, I prefer the natural, if apart from the exercise I find an interesting natural product.

Buffff, because I in itself have many gas problems and therefore stomach pain, I don't know, when I start with the metformia that I have not yet started and it happens to me the same, I trust the diet, exercise and control myself often, is that the problem that the glucometer gives me very normal values-I do not know if it will be a coincidence that I started with a diet and walk that the glucometer is quite upward. The doctor also told me that I could give me intestinal problems.Well, we are fine.

And more than for the aloe it will not be for good habits, anyway if it takes aloe, the hydrates must be taken into account, it is a vegetable and all to a greater or lesser extent have HC.
