Hello everyone
I am gestational diabetics, my son has already been born and my glucose levels are rising instead of descending to normal
I would be quieter if I could consult with a diabetologist, but in my hospital there is no specialty
Could someone recommend a private specialist in Asturias ???

I would appreciate it very much

Hello MNF.

There is no specialty of endocrinology and nutrition in the hospital that corresponds to you you can always request the change of specialist doctor, in the same hospital (if it had been clear) or in another hospital.

I know a case of someone who came from near Navia to Huca de Oviedo for the issue of diabetes and in the forum there is someone who I think came from Llanes to Huca de Oviedo too, total in a more or less normal case as much as much as muchThey have a couple of consultations a year (although in the middle you have to do several tests) it will depend on the specialty but we are going ... that in the hospitals of the central area of Asturias it is more or less normal for people from all over Asturias, whatHospital is the one that corresponds to you?

I am not being able to recommend any private specialist because I don't know any, they have always taken me in Social Security in the Huca de Oviedo. In an in a hurry case not to have to wait months for a consultation (since yours in principle is gestational diabetes and maybe when they give you the consultation you no longer need it ...) I would tell you to look for one in the yellow pages if it arrives if it arrivesThe case.

Comment a little more your case (how much you have given birth, what glycemia you had and you are having now, what treatment you have had for diabetes in the months of gestation, if you have already recovered your usual weight, ... etc) canSomeone solves any of the doubts.
