I have got sick with flu and since yesterday my values ​​are very high.My physical activity has been nil and no matter how insulin that I sulked me not under 200, when before my values ​​did not go from 140 or 150. Is it due to the flu or is it any other problem?I am very scared and never happened before me.Greetings and thanks.

If it is due to the flu, do not scare yourself, take the medication that you have indicated and raise the insulin little by little but do not worry if a couple of days you are more uncontrolled.

Tell us a little more than insulin guideline you carry ...

Normally in flu situations, fever, infections the body segrega glucose itself ...
In these situations we usually raise insulin, depending on each 1 or 2 units and increase the number of glycemia measurements to control ...
