Hello, I have a nephew who debuted almost two years ago, now he is 14 years old ... since August, he suffers from a gastrointeritis specification;Without leading to fever, only vomiting and diarrhea ... it lasts a few days and cuts away, at various days the process is repeated. The first time I need to be hospitalized for dehydration and hyperglycemia, the times later have been less aggressive, but they are constant. The symptom that the most accentua child is stomach pain, and badly being ... they will analyze the feces, to rule out possible infections ... we do not know if this is normal, if it can be a consequence of diabetes or that... We are somewhat lost because the child also changes from doctors, bone from pediatric to head of head, and the truth is that in this change we do not know too well where to get information. If someone can clarify any questions, I would appreciate information in my email, Thank you all

Hello, Juan
You don't give us many data to help you.
The first thing is to ask you if an endocrine does not take it.Does only the head doctor attend it?For his age it will be type 1, so it is a priority to take him an endocrine.
As for diarrhea and vomiting, have you tested for a celiachy?Celiacía da Diarrhea and is associated with some frequency to diabetes.
It is essential to get the diagnosis as soon as possible, in order to stop the problem.Let them take it as soon as possible.
If you tell us where the child lives, perhaps we can guide you about specialists in your area.
