Hello,
I am debuting type 2 and I usually feel punctures in different parts each time.
My doctor takes away importance, but the truth is that I do not see him very interested.
Would anyone know how to clarify?
Thank you!
Is it normal to feel punctures?

What kind of punctures?
If you have been diagnosed for a short time, your disease may have been silently causing a problem before knowing that you had it.
If your doctor does not show interest, change doctor.Preferably seek an endocrine and that he values all your symptoms and possible problems.Never let a little informed or apathetic doctor cause you to regret the second opinion in the future.

The type of punctures that I feel resembles the hostels, only shorter.I feel them without exercising so I discard that cause.
Thanks Alea. The tone in which you answer.
Ah, unfortunately I can't change my doctor, I live in an isolated village.
A hug.;)
Juan Miguel, I do not refer to the header, but a specialist.
We also live in a town, and my daughter's specialist is 100 km, but it's what touches us.The important thing is that they value you and put the proper treatment. Then, the monitoring can do it.
Health
I agree with Alea, to rule out that you have something ... not with a simpel opinion without more.
I remember that when I debuted, weeks before and a few days later, I had frequent leg cramps ... my doctor gave me an explanation related to blood glucose (which I do not remember) the case is that when I normalized the glycemia, they left.
On the other hand, we might think of a neuropathy, but perhaps the symptoms would be the opposite of not having any feeling in feet or legs (in fact I have read cases of people who had burned their feet because they did not feel that the brazier's fire was affecting them).
Well, that better look at you.
Hello Juan Miguel:
Welcome to the forum.I am Type 2, I am diagnosed 1 year ago, I do not feel punctures, but if I heaviness of legs if I am too standing, with cold showers and legs high, it happens to me.
If we can help you, you know where you have us.
All the best,
Cloud
Diagnosticada en Agosto del 2009, solicite la curva de glucosa, diabetes melitus II, actualmente tomo Jentadueto, dos al día. Glicosilada 6,4
Thanks Alea, Owash, cloud.I will ask for an appointment with the endocrine.
Owash, it could be neuropathy because the cases that I mention are given when the affected nerves are sensitive.
I debuted in a hospital admission for gastric pain. They told me: "It has nothing, but the sugar is high
(356 mgs/dl) I took the usual antialgic and attend the doctor.: Twisted:
As we do most I informed myself about diabetes and one of the neuropathies that arise from diabetic complications is gastroparesis, with all the symptoms that I had that day.Intestinal paralysis, gastric pain ... Apparently neuropathy is the complication of diabetes that it can send normalizing glucose.Although it is afraid to think that myelin glysila and becomes appealing for macrophages.
A hug in the pancreas.
Hello Juan Miguel, welcome to the forum.
Look I would ask the endocrine to make you an electromyogram.
The EMG or mytogram is a medical diagnosis technique consisting of a neurophysiological study of muscle bioelectric activity.Classically, the same EMG term also encompasses electroneurography (the study of the nerves that transmit the motor order to the muscle apparatus) although today the word electroneuromyography (ENMG) is increasingly used in this regard. The technique consists in the application of small low voltage electrodes in the form of needles in the muscle territory that you want to study, measuring the response and connectivity between the different electrodes.
They have done it twice, once young and the other before having my son almost 4 years ago. He gave well, without alterations. He left me alone.
All the best
I think I am not the only one who, with the p *** needle garbage that gives the xunta it seems that sometimes a dagger is being stuck when the insulin is put on.

You must make a neurological visit to rule out diabetic neuropathy, which unfortunately is another complications of this pathology, remember that this disease is a silent "killer" that when you discover it perhaps it has already wreaked havoc. While before these complications, the more possibilities you have to stop your evolution, I hope your glucose is controlled this is very important to avoid further problems ... a cordial greeting ..
Hello, I also feel like punctures, usually when I am bathing, it gives me the feeling that they are clicking me a lot of needles in my belly, and I feel it in the places where I had applied the insulin before, but I only feel itIn the belly, in other places not, and my endocrine had told me that when debuting that is normal, I have been in DM1 for 7 years and I'm still sorry!I think it is in the sensitivity of Caa one's skin!
Well, I am also feeling things on my legs, although the right more than the left, not pichazos but pain that come and go.Tomorrow I go to the doctor and I will tell him to see what they tell me, but seeing your answers I see that I have neuropathy ... another thing ...: -S
Sometimes when you give a low you can feel your legs like with cramps, heavy ... but not always, rather when you are low sugar.
