Hello everyone I also have a newly acquired diabetes, this morning they have given me the news, after having gestational diabetes it seems that I will be diabetic my whole life, I am sunk right now, because the pregnancy has been very hardAnd I think my life from now on too, I still have no guidelines to follow but if someone can facilitate a diet or somewhere to go to start as soon as possible to overcome this uphill, greetings to all and thanks in advance.
Hello Maryoli
From what you say, it seems that you have type 2 diabetes (important that you confirm it).
If it is definitely type 2 diabetes, your GP will take you, I would ask for a consultation from the specialist (endocrine) to review your analytics and establish the most appropriate treatment (maybe Dianben).
I would recommend that for the whole issue of food you asked for an appointment with the educational nurse in diabetes (most diabetes units have it) and that it will explain well the food-glycemia-ejercio-drug relationship ...
