Hello again.I was diagnosed three months ago but I must suffer from two years.I deal with metformin (1500 mgs /day) and he regulated my hyperglycemia when I'm well encouraged. If I am not the diet and exercise, they stop being allies and only postpone the inevitable.
Greetings.

Hello Maryoli

From what you say, it seems that you have type 2 diabetes (important that you confirm it).

If it is definitely type 2 diabetes, your GP will take you, I would ask for a consultation from the specialist (endocrine) to review your analytics and establish the most appropriate treatment (maybe Dianben).
I would recommend that for the whole issue of food you asked for an appointment with the educational nurse in diabetes (most diabetes units have it) and that it will explain well the food-glycemia-ejercio-drug relationship ...

In this link you have more information:

Dare, the good of diabetes is that with effort you can control ... and this does not happen in all diseases

Welcome Maryoli and Juan Miguel, a year ago more or less that I entered this forum, I had just diagnosed diabetes II, I tried to be as lively as possible, I think it is a disease in which the emotional state influences a lot, I have had myBasons, I think that everyone, but after this time I have it very assumed, if it gets along it does not have to influence our lives, I both give you many spirits, believe if I tell you that there are quite worse chronic diseases. Now I am exfuster, it is one of the gifts that diabetes made to me.

Kisses
