1st I propose that we stop smoking all together, all of us who walk through the Diabetes Forum, that we write or that we only read, in order to support ourselves, encourage, comfort ourselves, vent and even stress together if necessary, :))
2nd to those who have already achieved it several things: the first is that you propose a date to park the tobacco of our lives, but... Of course, give us a while do not tell us that we leave it tomorrow because we need some time to assimilate and mentalize, go to specialists in case we need help, ...;And second help and monitoring ;That you give us your experiences, how you get it, as you felt and how you feel now, advice, ideas, ... whatever !!!!

Well ... wing ... we are going to raise awareness, to choose day and .... to quit smoking so as not to complicate life, than with the DM I think we already have plenty of eh?

I am convinced that I have to quit smoking, I have many fears to leave it (humor changes, irascibility, anxiety and stress -with what it entails, eat more and effects on glycemia, fattening, ...-, I am preparing oppositions and IThe exams come out in June and I don't know if everything will be too much now), I like the smell of tobacco in my hands, I like the feeling of smoke's breath in my mouth, I am confident the cigar in my hand, bufffffffffffffffffffffff... but I'm going to leave it and ... to go to accompany and help?

I have been not smoking for almost four months (this Saturday I was wedding and I don't smoke, the fire test).
The monkey, the desire to eat, the bad milk ..... it is mythified. They exist and they are there but they last a couple of weeks at most, then you eat the usual again and to be equally sympathetic as always.-Evidently I speakOnly in my case, I am not an expert.
What is clear is that you have to be convinced, if you are not sure 100 % you will fail. Dispose to everyone you can so that you will get more repair to return since you will disappoint many people.
Mmmmmm I do not know that it is more so that it is wonderful not to smoke and that you will give you how much you were a slave of the cigar.

Thank you bastards for the advice, I will try to do it ... although it costs me to remember what it was before starting smoking, God if I have more than half of my life smoking ... buffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff, what a shame I give !!!!I had never raised it that way and I just disappointed myself :-(

I identify with you in this tobacco, I also lead half a life smoking, and also with the comecome of "I have to leave it", and if I stop to think, I am very healthy, I have no serious complications, as very healthy, I am very healthy, I amIn my weight, and the only thing that clashes in my life is that I smoke like a truck driver.

Your enthusiasm has been infected so I encourage your proposal to quit smoking on July 15.I am not sure when I will go on vacation, but I will try to maintain this date.It seems good initiative like this we can endure and encourage each other ... hehe.

I, like cloud, stopped smoking the day they diagnosed me diabetes, that is, a few months ago.I have not fattened anything but I have to tell you that the first month was something hard.

As I have recent I think I can lend you a hand.
Indeed better after the oppositions and then you have to prepare a plan ..
1st Reading of the book "It is Facíl to quit smoking if you know how" it is not that you read it and stop smoking but it gives you good tools to face the process.
2nd Prepare a list with the advantages of quitting smoking .. (That is important to reread it in bad times)
3rd Know that when the desire to smoke appears if the time is enough to pass .. (I assure you)
4th think how proud your family and yourself will be, ... if you can quit smoking there will be nothing that resists you .. hahaha

Well, these ideas to start will we go little by little worth?

I stop smoking eight months and it cost me anything.Well, it cost me 230 euros because I did a relief laser treatment to help me.But well, costing to cost is not so much.In two months you recover the money for what saves not smoking.
