recipes for diabetics at Christmas

We comment on some menus, recipes and appropriate Christmas kitchen dishes to maintain diabetic feeding.Being diabetic does not mean that you can't enjoy a good dinner in the company of the family. You can eat well and take care of health. To do this we propose some general advice and some dishes designed for diabetic people (both dependent or not).

tips:
Alcohol beverages contain a lot of sugar, especially liquors, be careful with that, you can drink a glass of cider or cava, but it is better that you refrain from spirits. There are some apple, peach, etc. alcohol and sugar spirits, you can take a glass of these.

During dinner drinks without sugar or light, and if you drink beer it is better without alcohol since it contains less sugar.
Don't skip any food!Sometimes we are tempted to skimGlucose, therefore, you can make the previous meals and the day after, but not skip them.

Take the same dose of your treatment. If you take pills (oral antidiabetics) do not increase the dose, that could unbalance your blood sugar level negatively. If you inject insulin and you have a device to measure sugar (glucometer) you may consult with your doctor the possibility of increasing some fast or mixed insulin unit (always under medical prescription!).
