Hello, it makes a couple that I am controlling the glucose because after they operated on thyroid cancer, there would be a couple of days that went high. Now it turns out that fasting levels do well, but two hours after meals they come out at 160. Will it mean that I am diabetics? Can it happen that the values of the food are altered and not those of breakfast and dinner?
I thank you for helping me, I am very preoporated because the Trioides Cancer, which is more or less going well, this problem has been added to me.
Many greetings and thanks in advance

Elisa,

It is recommended that you visit a doctor and diagnose if it is something specific, or requires a treatment.

My personal opinion is that you should not worry excessively about this, I think that a postprandial value like the one you say, in a timely manner is not a problem, perhaps it takes longer to lower blood glucose, especially after an abundant meal.

Even so, I recommend that you control it, courage !!!;-)

Welcome Elisa, and welcome Isa ..
As they tell you, go to the endo.
I do not know what levels they have after each meal when I don't know is diabetic, but I do know a non -diabetic doctor who, when trying a continuous meter, gave a good scare because he gave him after the breakfast alarm of high glucose ...
