Good, I administer Apidra, my question is .. When you have just seen the number 0 in the feather window ... do you keep it pressed or the SOLTAIS and let the needle stuck a few more seconds?I comment because if I leave the pen 5 second as if I leave 10 they do not stop leaving droplets and sometimes with a single unit of brutal dowers.I do not know if it is because if I leave it, more units are administered.Thank you!!!

I leave it 10 seconds, all insulins.
Drops always come out due to pressure differences.No problem.

@Andres_javier: If you give you lows with 1 insulin unit, eat to your endocrin@ if you can prescribe fast insulin that can be increased or rising by 0.5 units

I will do that, I do healthy diet, sport, cane with coffee, go a mogollón ... I'm thin in healthy term.Come on, my insulin resistance is downtown

I keep the pen for a few seconds, while the needle is stuck.I also have the precaution of taking it out, at a different angle to which it entered.I learned it a long time ago, to avoid the exit of some possible insulin droplet.

My correction factor is 1 unit 50 mg/dl.A unit can cause you a hypo
