Freestyle 1 marks the constant

Hello, dear foros.First of all, thanks to the drivers and participants of this forum, which is of great help for all who live with the DM.3 and 4 years (today are 20 and 19, respectively).Both use Freestyle 1 several years ago (it was a phenomenal change for the whole family), together with XDRIP+ on Android phones.Beyond the differences between what XDRIP+& NBSP indicates; and capillary glycemia (which always exist) in general what is seen on the phone is quite faithful to reality.However, my youngest son has failed the last 3 or 4 sensors.The failure is that the phone stops receiving data from the sensor and when the freestyle reader is passed through the sensor, marks it constantly.That is, once the reader begins to mark what he no longer changes and the graph is in a horizontal red line.Obviously this is a mistake because, in addition, when corroborating with hair glycemia we see that the value is totally different (yesterday was 140, at another time 160 and the reader always marked what). & Nbsp;

we have read andAsked in other groups and there are those who say that it can happen in very lean people or with a low level of hydration, but it is not the case of my son.It does sports (karate) 4 or 5 times a week.We think that perhaps reason could be excessive sweating or even some possible blow during exercise.But I reiterate that this happens to him much more often and years ago that he uses the FS and that he more or less maintain the same exercise and food routine. & Nbsp;

today we changed the sensor again (5days of having put the previous one) but what we are going to try is a much stronger adhesive, to avoid possible movements.The second step we think for the next sensor is to change the place of placement.Normally he uses them in the back of the arm, but perhaps the thickness or composition of the skin can vary in the leg or buttocks, for example.

Has anyone had something similar and/orIt occurs to him what the cause can be?

Hello, here in Spain the 1 is no longer used but with respect to what you have it may be that a defective sensors have arrived.2 The "Lo", I have called Abbot and they have replaced me, because it is a sensor error, I do not think it has anything to do with your son.

call and replace you.P>

Yes, we already claimed the previous sensors and changed them without problem.But the mysterious thing is that my other child is using sensors of the same lot (they are the ones that gives us medical insurance here in Uruguay) and has had no problem.The "advantage" of having two diabetic children is that we always have the other as a reference :)).We will continue testing ...
