Hello and welcome to the @Martu forum!💙

Thank you for opening and sharing your situation with us.It is a big step to seek support and want to make a change. Here in the forum you will find many people who have gone through similar challenges and that we are willing to listen to you, accompany you and share our experiences.

Living with type 2 diabetes and facing problems such as Charcot's evil, obesity and difficulties in controlling food is not easy, but I want you to know thatYou are not alone. The important thing is that you have taken this step to seek help, and that already shows a lot of strength.

Some ideas to start could be:

1. Little steps, great achievements: don't want to change everything suddenly.Start with small changes in your diet, such as gradually reducing sugars consumption or increasing water you drink can make a difference.

2. Medical support: If you have not done so, look for a specialized medical team, which includes an endocrine, a nutritionist and possibly a psychologist, can be a great help to design a plan adapted to your needs and limitations.

3. Shared experiences: Here there are many people who also face challenges with their diabetes.Sharing your days, your achievements and your frustrations can be liberating and, in addition, it will help you find strategies that have worked for others.

4. Adapted activity: Although you cannot perform much physical activity, there are adapted exercises for people with reduced mobility.Talking with a physiotherapist or specialist could open new possibilities.

5. Emotional support: dealing with diabetes can be emotionally exhausting.Let yourself feel and talk about it, either here or with a mental health professional.

You are very brave to take this step!I hope you find in this community the support you need. Here we will be to help you in what we can, either with advice, encourage or simply to listen to you.

A big hug and a lot of encouragement on this path.💙

@Martu, do you put fast insulin before each meal?

Or do you just slow? What insulin using?

Do you have glucometer and measure yourself before and after meals?

It is that sometimes type 2 treats her alone with slow ... and may also need quick.

Much encouragement, you have to get it.
