Hello good,

I attach my graph yesterday with the objective that you can help me, I am entering the world of the bomb and I have continuously problems at night, ceno at about 8 in the case D yesterday salad (lettuce with a few olives and olives andNice) and fish, with some bread;It is observed that 3 hours after dinner, the sugar rises quite a lot and then it takes approximately 3-4 hours to correct;It passes me continuously the day before TB;What do you blame it for a bad count of hydrates or what is the basal bad?

As for what you say, they could be several things, but here are some ideas that could help you:

Hydrates count: Although your dinner seems low in hydrates, it may be that the olives, bread or even fish (if you carry any kind of batter) are adding more carbohydrates than you have calculated.He also remembers that lettuce and other vegetables have a very low but not null impact on glucose, especially if you consume a considerable amount.

2. Slow absorption: Some proteins and fats can slow down digestion, which makes food hydrates upload sugar later than expected.This could explain the peak a few hours after dinner.

3. Basal Night: If the sugar takes several hours to go down after the peak, it could be that the night basal is not completely adjusted.This is something you can review with your medical team or adjust little by little, following the recommendations of your endocrine or diabetes educator.

4. Bolus extended or dual: if your dinner has a moderate amount of fats or proteins (such as beautiful and fish), you could try to use an extended or dual bolus, depending on how your pump works.This helps cover the hydrates that are more slowly released in the body.
