I ignore if the subject has already been discussed.If not, I would like to know your opinion about protein supplements, especially for elderly diabetics, due to the risk of dreaded sarcopenia.By chance I found a product, textured soybeans, very rich in vegetable proteins.Like everything, it will have its caution such as the care of the kidneys or take it under medical control.

Hello!

The textured soy and textured peas proteins are great, they have a good protein contribution, which at all ages comes well, also with regular consumption should not affect kidneys or anything like that.

These two ingredients helps me to replace other foods at certain times, when I don't want to eat hydrates for not clicking.Lately, for example, I use the pea protein (I buy some that are like elongated noodles) and use in soups, as a substitute for paste noodles or chickpeas.

I encourage you to look for recipes, textured soy hamburgers are very rich as well.

On the other hand, I take isolated protein in shake, over 25g a day, about 3-4 days a week, after training, and still often it was difficult for me to reach the minimum grams of protein recommended to gain muscle mass according to my weight.Now with diabetes, than less hydrates, I do arrive.
