Iberian MedtronicHe has announced the call of the first edition of the “Together for Innovation” contest, an initiative that seeks to promote innovative projects focused on awareness, training and dissemination on diabetes and associated technologies.This contest is aimed exclusively at diabetes associations based in Spain, offering an economic endowment of € 6,000 to develop the winning proposal.
Who can participate?
The contest is open to all diabetes associations that meet the following requirements:
- Hu a headquarters in Spain and develop the project within the national territory.
- Not having a member of the association as part of the jury.
- Not having current contractual relationships with Medtronic.
- Be willing to collaborate with Medtronic in future activities, such as Webinars and awareness campaigns.
PROJECT REQUIREMENTS
Associations may present a single project that is original and oriented to:
- Raise awareness about diabetes.
- Perform training or informative activities on technologies and solutions for diabetes management.
- benefit patients with diabetes and their families, promoting greater access to innovative technologies.
The project must be executed in the 12 months after its award and will be presented during theExperience Day Diabetes,On February 15, 2025 at the Zaragoza Congress Palace.
How can you participate
Interested associations must send their request by email toRS.asociationdiabetes@medtronic.comincluding:
- Name and contact of the association.
- Statutes of the Association.
- Project details: description, objectives, schedule, methodology, expected impact and necessary resources.
- Broken down budget indicating the use of € 6,000.
The deadline for sending the applications began on December 5, 2024 and ends on January 10, 2025. It is essential to present all the required documentation and accept the bases of the contest.
Selection criteria
A jury composed of representatives of National Associations, of Diabetes Experience Day and the Medtronic Diabetes Education Team will evaluate the proposals based on:
- Alignment with the objectives of the contest.
- Expected impact.
- Technical and temporal viability.
- Originality and innovation.
- Sustainability and replicability.
-Cost-benefit ratio and implementation plan.
