Hello.
I don't post much but I always read your messages that you learn a lot.
I have free "freestyle 2" sensors and now they changed me.same but "plus." I saw the first ones last 14 days and the plus 15 and I suppose that this will be the difference for "plus". Within one week I first put the plus for the first time and I suppose that my reader "Freestyle2 "Will you keep reading them?
Thanks in advance, happy holidays and does not decline the encouragement.

On Monday I knew it by changing it. Anyway I appreciate your answer, I already get something quieter.

It works perfectly, I have been with the plus for a week, it is exactly the same but configured to last another day, they also say that it is more precise and at least my case is confirmed that it is better.

Can the reader and mobile phone be used at the same time to receive glucose values?
I read something that it depends on how you start them, whether they work or not, does anyone use them?
Thank you

If you start it first with the reader, then you can theoretically also use it with the mobile.
But the reader caused a lot of interference with my cell phone for me.I had to leave the reader in another room because otherwise the cell phone wouldn't receive anything.Only very old readers, which did not have alarms or Bluetooth, are really usable at the same time with the mobile phone.

Hello!
The problem, for me, is that if you use the reader it is no longer continuous reading but flash.
You have to scan first with the reader, then you can use the reader or mobile (if you scan first with the mobile it no longer allows you to use the reader 🤷🏻♀️).But you have to scan every time you want to know how your blood glucose is, it's not like what we are used to where you open the app and it shows you how you are and you see how it changes. It is true that, with the flash system, it makes the curve up to the previous measurement for a maximum of 8 hours, but it does not tell you the values nor do they appear until you scan.I hope I have explained myself 😅🤦🏻♀️.
All the best!!

Good morning
I've been using the "Plus" for a couple of months, with no problems.I do it in the same way as with the Libre 2. Of course, the first measurement with the reader, which works the same, and from there, without distinction, reader and mobile.Advantage: one more day, 15 in total.

With the reader you do continuous measurement?

Yes, totally.

Not me!!And it's new, it's not two months old.It turns everything into a "flash" system (if I don't scan there is no reading).

Don't you have to scan it manually?

Good afternoon
I've been doing the same thing for years: I activate the sensor with the meter.Next with the mobile. And from there, every time I want to see my glucose I apply one or the other, manually, yes (meter or mobile).I don't quite understand that continuous or flash type measurement.I'm already lost.
Greetings.

@Surprised: continuous measurement means that when you open the app on your phone, the blood glucose value will appear without having to pass your phone over the sensor. For this to happen you have to have the LibreLink app updated and activate the new sensor first with your mobile phone and then with the reader

Good morning
Thanks @Ricki21, now it is clear to me what you mean by continuous measurement.I always activated the sensor, first with the reader, so I don't have that continuous measurement that you are talking about.Of course, I always try to keep the LibreLink application updated.
All the best.

The thing is that if you scan first with your mobile, the reader does not work.In order to use the reader you have to first scan with it but the system is already flash and not continuous.

Continuous glucose monitoring has been a huge help for me – no more finger pricks!
