Good morning,
In September I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. My doctor prescribed 1 metformin pill per day, average in the morning and a half at night and change of habits in food.I have done it very well, I have lost 9 kg, but my father was entering the hospital and eating badly.I am also suffering from bullying at work by my boss.
My problem is that I relate any adversity to food and I don't know how to face it without stop eating healthy.
I would like someone to tell me how to control it and be able to help me.
Thank you very much to everyone.

Hi, Yolanda, I think what happens to you is that you have anxiety.Tell her with your family doctor, to give you some treatment to relax, because there are times in the life that is needed.

Hi Regina, I already take medication for anxiety and I do very well. You may need some tool that I do not know to face those emotions and not fall into junk food.Thank you for your comment

@Yolandabv: the stress that causes you those situations that you comment very negatively influence the control of diabetes. If you add uncontrolled in food, then nothing helps you.
Medication is the fastest solution, but learning relaxation techniques or Mildfulness can be very helpful to avoid using food as "balm."

Anxiety, non -serious depression, anguish, sadness, fear, frustration, anger, melancholy, despair, despair, fear and other emotional disorders or manifestations of a greater or lesser imbalance of the inner sphere of the inner sphereThey almost always look for immediate compensation paths in:
- Food
- Sex
- Alcohol and/or other drugs
To a greater or lesser extent, in most cases it is so.
It is usually weird, although there are, its own paths of deprivation and pain or self -harm, such as anorexia.
I recommend a psychologist or someone to help you find the causes that lead you to that state of anxiety.
Cheer up
