Hi @juankycito

Thanks for sharing what you are living.I perfectly understand your concern, and send you a huge hug.Seeing someone we want to reject their treatment can be very painful and helpless.

In the forum we have read similar stories and we know that behind that rejection there is many times there is emotional tiredness, frustration, fear ... Sometimes it is a way of expressing that they need help, even if they do not know how to ask for it.Diabetes is not only carried in the body, it also weighs in the soul.

Have you been able to talk to her from a place of listening and affection?

Sometimes a "I'm with you whatever happens" than a direct insistence.

He could also help him to go through here and share what worries or overwhelms him, we have all gone through very difficult times with diabetes, and sooner or later we end up fed up with so much control.

I hope we can give you some relief and tools to accompany her. Here we are for what you need, you also need support and you are not alone.

A very strong hug,

@juakycito, if you don't put it on, you will end up in the hospital very serious, if you don't live alone, you will have to put it on.But it is important to know the reason why he does not want to inject, it can be for emotional fatigue or because that insulin he uses does not do well and does not see results.

You will have to comment with the endocrine, to see if you can improve the treatment and make it more bearable.

Knowing other young diabetics will come well, in some association.

What insulin do you use?

You have to look for some solution, because stopping to get insulin is not an option.

Much encouragement

We understand it well.It is exhaustion and tiredness of everything.

We all have those times, make you want to throw in the towel, but then you reflect and you know that without insulin, you die.So simple.

Try to take it to diabetological education, to some association of diabetics, deal with other people in their same situation can open their eyes.A visiite to the psychologist could also do well. This attitude may come for something else that has happened to him and the frustration makes him act like this.

@juankycito: I advise you to go with her to a diabetic association. There they can help you especially if they have any psychologist.
