Hello good,
I have been reading a bit of everything related to the Basal Tresiba and for diabetics that have been debuted for many years, the doses are much lower than mine.
That is why I am already worried thinking that mine is oversized, which is being 28 units.
Fast insulin is the FIASP, for which I have a ratio of 1 more or less and I am injecting no more than 10 units a day.
Would anyone have any information about this?
Thank you

@Nacho85: Each person needs insulin units based on their body weight, the amount of exercise you perform and the amount of HC you eat at meals. In addition, if one has an infection, with or without fever, or takes corticosteroids, insulin needs will increase considerably.
If you get up with good values and between meals you stay in range, your slow dose is correct.
You can also try the method that Serafín Murillo explains to assess whether your slow dose is correct: Link ;Eight=zDIEXDPBWL0D3JN
DM1 desde 1982: Toujeo+Novorapid
Each one puts the dose he needs.
I use toujeo and put 20 units, when I started 10 years ago, only 8 units.
The years pass and the needs change.Check it with your endocrine.
Lada enero 2015.
Uso Toujeo y Novorapid.
Good, A.Dia today skewed 35 units daily from Tresiba, yes, now with my work I exercise less than a plaster cat, at least the last month.
Go to reduce both slow and fast when I was in the gym, to climb both when I started working in my new position.
